The Founder’s Fund
The Founder’s Fund for Urgent Care honors Lana Carson, Lynn Jazdzyk, Connie Karry, who founded the Volunteers of Muskegon County Animal Control and who, for the past 20 plus years, have devoted their time, treasures, and talents to improve the lives of shelter animals.
Donations to the Founder’s Fund for Urgent Care will support urgent and emergency medical care for shelter animals in need, with a goal of giving them improved outcomes, increasing opportunities for adoption, and living life to the fullest.

Sponsor a Kennel
Every dog who resides at Pound Buddies is housed in a large, open-air 5’ x 8’ kennel, allowing them plenty of room to stretch out and feel comfortable. These kennels are designed to reduce the stress some dogs may experience, and allow clear visibility to staff members, decreasing their feelings of isolation.
Gifts of $5,000 or more are recognized with kennel sponsorship (unless otherwise designated) and your name and special wording will be included on signage at the shelter.

Pound Buddies is extremely grateful for every gift, and gifts of stock are no exception. Many of our constituents find gifts of stock to be a very convenient way to fulfill their wishes to support our organization. If you would like to make a donation from your stock portfolio, please contact Conny Karry, and she will be happy to coordinate the details with you.
